Maurice was born 12th March1945 in Taunton, Somerset, in the West of England within a family of 6 kids while both his mother and father were working almost 24/7 to run a country veterinary practice. Country pursuits very much dominated his free time from school sports with his passion still for hunting.

If you search back in time the aviator/aviatrix has been the aerial ambassador to the world,General Balbo flew his aerial armada of Savoia Mrchetti seaplanes all over the place to not only promote aviation to the world, but to unite nations,despite being struck down he achieved his goal.

Likewise today thankfully,we have the wanderlusts of adventure in the air who retread those pioneers steps,sadly the authorities have become out of step and obsessed with their own ego's over time,to keep adventure alive we need the likes of a pilot from Barry,Glamorgan,the last bastion of freedom has suffered but he is winning,never shall the freedom of people to be themselves be challenged,common sense always rules and he who fights authority is to be greatly admired,to be read whilst singing 'Fight the good fight....' or any good appropiate Welsh song for that matter,I hope that this places you in high spirits Maurice.

Maurice can I suggest perhaps F-KIRK,F-BKRK,F-BKRC ? there are plenty of lovely Cub's in France to get your hands on and do not overlook the lovely Stark Lavadoux wooden Cubs either,best of luck in your quest to accomplise your aims,as regards getting your French ticket then you can teach them a few things about real flying !

I'm ashamed of the treatment that "Cap'n Kirk" has received while in my home state. Sorry just is not adequate to say for all the trouble he has known here. I only pray that who ever got their feathers ruffled and made things so bad for Maurice will be forced to endure much payback at some point. Here's hoping things improve greatly and in short order!
